Kivo Daily Highlights Richardson Studio’s 40 Over 40 Portrait Experience Celebrating Women Across Indiana

We are excited to share that Richardson Studio has been featured in Kivo Daily for the launch of our inaugural 40 Over 40 Portrait Experience, a portrait series created to celebrate women in their 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond.

The feature explores the inspiration behind 40 Over 40 and our belief that women deserve to be photographed and celebrated exactly as they are today. Each woman who participates has the opportunity to create beautiful portraits, share her story, and become part of a collection recognizing the confidence, strength, personality, and experiences that make her who she is.

Celebrating Women at Every Stage of Life

So many women spend years taking care of everyone around them, building careers, raising families, growing businesses, navigating change, and moving from one season of life into the next.

Somewhere along the way, being photographed themselves can move further and further down the list. Our 40 Over 40 Portrait Experience was created to change that.

This experience isn’t about looking younger or becoming someone different in front of the camera. It’s about celebrating the woman you are right now and creating portraits that capture your personality, confidence, style, and everything that has brought you to this point in your life.

A Portrait Experience Designed Around You

One of the things Kivo Daily highlighted is the experience that happens before and during each 40 Over 40 photoshoot. You don’t need to know how to pose, what to do with your hands, what photographs well, or even what to wear before you arrive.

Our team guides you through the entire experience, including personalized photoshoot planning, wardrobe guidance, professional hair and makeup, posing, expression, movement, and professional studio lighting.

After more than 20 years and 6,466 portrait sessions, we’ve photographed people with every level of comfort in front of the camera. Our job is to create an environment where you can relax, enjoy the experience, and allow us to bring out the personality that makes you uniquely you.

More Than a Portrait Session

What makes 40 Over 40 especially meaningful to us is that it goes beyond the individual photoshoot.

The women participating in our inaugural volume will ultimately come together through a portrait exhibition and gala celebrating their photographs and, more importantly, the stories and experiences behind them.

Every woman enters the studio with a different story. Some are celebrating major accomplishments or new chapters. Others simply decided it was finally time to do something for themselves. Both are worth celebrating.
